Two projects I run outside engineering, both built around music and the people who make it.
PLTFRM films DJ sets in unusual outdoor locations. The sessions run 15 to 20 minutes, they are free, and they give DJs visibility while giving listeners somewhere new to find sound. Each one sits where the music meets the place it was played.
@pltfrm.030Amour Africain is a Berlin collective and platform for Afro-electronic music. We put on events and bring together artists and audiences around contemporary African sound. The idea is a room where those sounds can grow, and where people meet across them.
